Western Melbourne · Brimbank City Council

Web design Deer Park

Deer Park is an older western suburb in the City of Brimbank, about 17 km from the CBD, with 18,145 residents at the 2021 census and a mix that few Melbourne suburbs share: established streets around Ballarat Road and Station Road, the Brimbank Shopping Centre, and one of the city's largest industrial areas on its southern and western edges, where the 66-hectare Deer Park Estate on Tilburn Road is being built out with distribution centres. Deer Park station is on the Melton line, and the Western Ring Road, the Deer Park Bypass and the Western Highway meet nearby, which is why transport, wholesale and trade-supply businesses cluster here alongside the cafés, takeaways, clinics and family services that serve the residential streets.

Deer Park businesses

Businesses we build for in Deer Park

What the local business mix means for your website.

Deer Park's small businesses fall into two groups with different website jobs. Local-service businesses, such as cafés and takeaways on Ballarat Road and at the shopping centre, hairdressers, pharmacies, GP and dental clinics, childcare, tutoring and the many trades and home services run from houses, are found by people who already live nearby and want hours, prices, parking and a way to book on a phone. Trades and cleaners based here work across Brimbank and the west, from St Albans and Sunshine to Caroline Springs, Burnside and Truganina.

The second group is business-to-business: transport and logistics operators, food and beverage wholesalers, manufacturers, trade suppliers, mechanics and truck services around Tilburn Road, Station Road and the Western Ring Road. Their customers rarely want a gallery or a booking button. They want to know what the business handles, where it is, its hours, dock and access details and who to call, so a buyer or supplier can check before ringing.

The page plan

What Deer Park websites need to get right

We build these into the page plan when they apply to your business.

  • A service-area section that names the Brimbank and Melton suburbs you genuinely cover: Deer Park, St Albans, Sunshine, Albanvale, Cairnlea, Burnside, Caroline Springs and Truganina
  • For logistics and wholesale businesses, the practical details a buyer checks first: products or services handled, trading hours, dock and access notes, truck parking and a direct contact
  • Opening hours, parking and a map link for shopfront businesses, visible without scrolling on a phone
  • Registrations and checks shown plainly for childcare, tutoring and health services, and licence details for licensed trades

Working together

Getting around Deer Park, and how we work with you

Where it is

About 17 km west of the CBD, in Brimbank City Council, part of Western Melbourne.

How customers reach you

Deer Park station is on the Melton line, and most customers and suppliers arrive by road: Ballarat Road and Station Road through the suburb, the Western Ring Road along its eastern side and the Deer Park Bypass and Western Highway to the south. For a depot or warehouse, give the entrance, truck access and hours; for a shop or clinic, the nearest cross street and parking; and for a trade, the suburbs you cover rather than a long paragraph at the bottom of the page.

How we work together

Briefing, feedback, approvals and handover happen online by video call, phone, email and shared documents. A call can be arranged whenever it helps.

I run a transport or wholesale business near Tilburn Road. Is a small website worth it?

Yes, if it answers the questions a buyer or supplier has before they ring: what you handle, where you are, your hours, dock and access details and who to contact. A clear five-page site with those answers does more for a business-to-business operator than a large brochure site nobody updates, and it gives the people searching your company name something better than a bare directory listing.

Should my website say Deer Park or Brimbank?

Use the suburb names customers search, such as “mechanic Deer Park” or “plumber Caroline Springs”, and keep Brimbank for the council. One service-area section that lists the suburbs you genuinely cover is more useful than repeating the council name, and it matches what you set on a Google Business Profile.

My shop is on Ballarat Road and most trade is drive-by. Do I need a website at all?

A small one. People who drive past still check hours, menus and reviews on a phone before they stop, and new residents search before they know the strip. A site with your hours, what you sell, real photos, a map link and a phone number, matched to a Google Business Profile, is enough; it does not need to be large.

How much does a website cost for a Deer Park business?

The same as anywhere in Melbourne: A$169, A$299 or A$449, paid once, for up to 3, 5 or 8 pages. Domain, hosting and paid third-party tools are separate. Brand Launch, with a logo, website and first-year domain and hosting, starts at A$599.
